What will happen at your appointment with our Welfare Benefits Advisor?
Your advisor will discuss with you and explain the merits of your proposed claim. If you are in receipt of any other benefits or pensions, you will be advised of the impact your claim may have on these benefits and whether it is worth your proceeding. If you have a valid claim and agree to our help, your advisor will assist you with the completion of your claim form. With your agreement we will write to the DWP on your behalf and answer any letters for you.
To ensure your claim is progressed as quickly as possible it would be helpful to bring along the names and addresses of one or two ex-workmates when you come to the appointment.
Our Welfare Benefits Advisors will ask you to send copies of any letters you receive from the DWP during your claim. We will discuss these with you and reply on your behalf.
