Your questions answered

Why do I need a FreeClaim Insurance Policy?

Because with such an insurance policy, if your claim is unsuccessful then FreeClaim will arrange to pay off all of the costs of your claim including the other sides costs.

You will not have to pay a penny. Without such a policy your opponent would be entitled to look to you to pay their legal costs. FreeClaim's insurance policy protects you.

Who pays for the insurance?

Most people prefer not to have to pay for expenses such as the insurance premium, doctor's fees for a medical report and court fees etc. (these are known as disbursements). FreeClaim IDC will arrange a disbursement funding loan for you, if you wish.

This is unlike a personal loan as there are no credit or other checks usually associated with such loans.

Who pays off the loan at the end of my case?

If you lose, the loan is paid off in full by the FreeClaim insurance policy and you can walk away having paid nothing at all.

If you win, your disbursements will be recovered from your opponent and this includes the FreeClaim insurance premium. The only cost you will have to bear would be any unrecoverable expenses, but we guarantee that this will be capped at the maximum figure of £399*, no matter how much compensation you receive.

In a nutshell

With the FreeClaim IDC insurance policy, if you lose you will pay nothing at all. If you win the maximum deduction from your compensation will be £399*.
