FreeClaim IDC Is A Winner With Dockyard Workers

Colin Harknett
Gillingham man Colin Harknett was compensated for an asbestos-related condition due to negligent asbestos exposure over 32 years while working as an engine fitter in the dockyards. The 68 year old, who had his legal claim and expenses funded by FreeClaim IDC, was impressed with just how straightforward the whole process was:
"Everything went very well. It was all very smooth and well organised."
Colin decided to make a claim, after attending a FreeClaim IDC drop-in session. He explains:
"I saw an advert in the local paper and read they were coming to this area, it explained if anyone had any concerns over their exposure to asbestos they could go along and see them. We went to an open morning and there were some friendly women there who spoke to us about it all. I filled out an application form and it went on from there."
FreeClaim IDC progressed Colin's claim, providing him with the services of a legal firm selected from its expert personal injury panel of solicitors. Colin says he could not have asked for a better service:
"The staff at FreeClaim IDC were very helpful and the solicitors were also very good. They kept me well informed and everything went through when they said it would."
"Quite a few people came down with asbestos from my work. I've told them they should get it checked out through FreeClaim IDC and I would encourage others to do so as well."
